Why was toyota domestic sales down more than GM?? Is that to a representation of product quality?

If I had to guess it's because people are more willing to stay brand loyal even though they are POS IMO

You know the old I gotta buy brand x regardless of the quality because of where it is made

I mean this is a shame, years ago the total conception of the American public in general precieved the Asian cars and automotive products inferior in almost every way

Let's just say things are not the way they used to be and Americans better sit up and take notice, if it is not to late already.....

well the kicker about it is... it was Americans who taught the Japanese these manufacturing techniques (Edwards Deming) that makes a superior product w/ less issues and a more flexible and dependable production system... many of you have most likely heard of "Lean/JIT Manufacturing"... it works... took 3 graduate level classes on these systems... they have a better production system which provides them more money to invest in PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
