351W Question?

On the search for info on what I believe is a 351W Escort conversion, 80 MC. Bought some plugs from Skidim but they are 14mm and the ones in the engine are larger, possibly 18mm.

The valve covers have Escort XL on them and saw some traffic on a possible conversion kit. Exhaust manifolds look nothing like the ones in Skidim catalgue. Will be getting engine tag info this weekend, somewhat legible. :confused:

I retrieved the Model numbers and received the following from PCM, "The model engine you are inquiring about was discontinued in 1980. Parts are no longer available for this engine."
I'm at a loss :confused:

Haven't seen any concrete info here or on skidim site, I guess I'll have to accept the fact that not much info is available on the base engine and match parts as necesary.
Any thoughts???

Did you talk to SKIDIM on the phone?? They may be able to offer some insight. They seem to know a lot about inboards..

Talked to Richard as Skidim and he was the one that put me on to the Escort conversion. Going to take some pics this weekend and repost.
