All I can tell you is that you do not tap into the raw water intake on a closed cool engine if you want a hot shower. Unless you do your boating in a giant hot tub.

i installed the cold water tee on the 1 1/4 raw water hose after the impeller but before the transmision cooler i installed the other tee on the 1 inch line that connects the thing thats the coolent gets cooled by the fresh water thinking that that should be hot water but its not the only hot water coming out of the boat is at the exhaust but that cant be right

I know that in 2005 you could not get a hot water shower option on a LQ9 engine. It was one of the factors in my decision to go with the L18 motor when I ordered my '05.

They sell a heat exchanger (like your transmission cooloer) to adapt hot water showers to closed cooling boats. Check skidim.com or heatercraft.com
