I decided to upgrade and picked her up yesterday. Cleaned out the garage and have two Mastercrafts in there now. I think she is everything I ever wanted in a boat.

Mike I did a search on ebay a few weeks ago and saw the listing from Georgia. He had bought it from Redline and was moving from Georgia to Mass. for his job. I need to wipe the seats down a bit and I will post more pics. I called him and negotiated after no bids were given.

make sure you take pic of the two MC's together. We had a 78' 190 and 94' 205 but never got a pic of the two together. regardless to say i am looking to find that 78' so i can buy it back

I need to know what made you go from the Maristar to the X2. I'm in the same position in that I have a Maristar 230 and I'm looking at a 2005 205v, but I can't seem to pull the trigger on it due to the lack of inside space. But I'm going from a slip to the garage and I need something more managable behind the truck and getting in and out of the garage. Any advise?

My decision was that I wanted a tower, had considered upgrading to a sub etc, I wanted to buy a boom to foot off of and the tower boom will not get me into a position where I have to buy one then sell one previously bought for the Maristar, upgraded 7 year models, I did not like the molded in platform too many people had issues getting in and out, and on my Maristar the sundeck was kind of a bad design. The X2 will let me do some surfing, boarding, and barefoot. I like to ski and I know the lip on the wake is kinda big but no bigger than my Maristar.

Not sure if that helps but those are some of my reasons

Holy smokes I rode behind that boat. I know the original owner before he moved from Wisconsin. You can say that is how I got the Mastercraft bug.

Yea Paul was good to work with. Redline was good as well they allowed me to see the work records.

Very nice looking boat. Here's my Prostar parked beside my brother's X-Star. Both are hoping for an early spring!
