man you guys are rough on the kid, just because he is the post king and addicted to the site...I hope some of your advice is taken though and he really looks this boat over. I too would be leary of such low hours and sometimes a boat that sits is worse than one with hours.

Surprised they didn't say bid the 19k on ebay? Looks like ERK could get it a lot cheaper, or at least based on the bid price now.

I am still not finalized, so the price is still negotiable.

Sure there is. I bought my '94 in 2001 with 59.9 hours on it. The paint on the engine & exhaust was perfect. Interior was perfect, nothing had been modified at all, no stereo, no heater, the wires had not even been crimped under the dash where those accessories would hook up.

Now at almost 600 hours, I've added tons, heater, stereo, tower, etc., the exhaust manifolds have a little rust underneath, the interior has a couple of dings, anything rubber in the engine compartment has been replaced, throttle knob is worn smooth, etc. etc.

It's possible, but there are definitely consequences to buying a boat that has not been used. The alternator belt broke the first week I had it!
