We plan to take the boat out this weekend and enjoy the sun. The water is still not quite all the way warm but the off season has been too long.

NSXBill you going to be out this weekend? I will be either on Allatoona or Carter's.

EDIT:

We are water bound this weekend. The water is chilly like Cousin Jeff's but the sun will be warm, rain chances at this point are lower than higher.

Dan
Just be very careful with your first ride with the ACME.Seems there was a bad Karma a couples of weeks ago with a couples of guys here dinging their brand new prop.
I know i will wait a couples of days to see if there's no debris on the lake. :twocents:

Andre, Any tips on how to put in and take out a lift. My virgin Hewitt is a monster. We slid it in this past weekend and floated it into place with 4 inner tubes. I'm a little worried how to get it out in the fall. Do I just need about 8 people to carry it up the beach.? Any tips would be helpful.

put the lift dock in last weekend. Trailer is ready & canopies are up. This will be our first "full" weekend. Of course, I messed my knee up last weekend, so my skiing won't be "full on", but at least I'll be out there thanks to the Vicodin!

I just pull mine into the water from my lawn.Mine is very lightweight ,not even 350 lbs and got skids under each legs.Very easy for me to put in and out.
I think Hewitt lifts are much more tough and strong then mine, wich means also heavier. When i got mine delivered, the guy said that most of the time they uses tube to float bigger ones in place.
Good luck!

If the weather holds out, (looks like it will) I may have to double out.. Ski Sunday morning and rush home to drop off the crew and pick up the wife and kids, then off to the lake. Looks like the lake temps are going to be at least 55 so, the wife and kids may bich but its not my fault..

We just got back from a 10 Day vacation in Lake Tahoe, where the weather was fabulous and the water cold. Anyways, we were able to ski everyday. We had to cut the stay a little short because, I have a golf tournament to play in this weekend. Therefore, the boat will stay dry, but the clubs will see the sun this weekend.

Hang in there dude! Just a couple days til' the wedding and your future wife is stressing about the one event she has been planning since she was 5 years old. You know what would be cool is 2 days before the wedding take her out on the boat for a day, just the 2 of you and hang out.
Don't forget, keep her away from the wedding cake the day off. The night is much more enjoyable then :D

Edit: 2.5 hours since new boat purchase (8-11-05)
18 hours this year on old boat (86' MC)

Jeremy:

My wife is totally Type A personality and I am about 80% Type A. What we have to remind ourselves all the time is that the house stuff will be there in a couple hours or tomorrow AM but time is unfortunately something we can't stop so quality time together is key!!

(BTW, it makes for a great excuse to get on the lake together :D )
