Does anyone own one of these racks that attaches to your gunwale? I've done Google searches but the only thing I've found are the patents to these, can't find a place to purchase. Just wondering if anyone has one and if they like it and where they've purchased it. Thanks!

I know of two types. One used by CC mounts inside the boat and holds two skis. Pretty good way of keeping your skis organized inside the boat.

The other type actually mount on the top of the gunwale (or where you can fit them). I used them on our outboard and they were just fine. They would get in the way of the ski rope if you mounted them on the gunwale of an inboard.

Any links or pics?

Wayne,

Here is a link to a review a CC owner did on the skitree system. It has photos and links that would be helpful.

The word on the street over at the site is that these are better than the standard CC racks pictured below:

There's a guy over on planetnautique that has been trying to sell a pair of these forever. If your combing pads have enough space, they might work on a MC. Go check out their classifieds. I'll bet they're still for sale.

Here's the link (http://www.planetnautique.com/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&t=7572&highlight=ski+racks). Same ones (exact same ones) pictured above.

Will it fit your ex-205?

I think it may have, but hard to say. It mounts to the floor and then to the back side of the combing pad. My guess is that it probably would, but if I were ordering it for a MC, I'd call for dimensions first.
