I am trying to help a friend find a wakeboard for his son. He needs one in the 128-130 cm range. Also I think he needs a fairly light board. What do yall suggest?

Ronix are some of the lightest boards and bindings on the market... love riding my cells on ibex setup... the one setup is really popular too

Do you like your Ronix one bindings? How do they drain. I read that some people say that the bindings get heavy with water. What about when you fall? Do the liners come out?

my cells are the exact same boot as the one except they're black and the liners have never come out... have a good friend who had last year's ones and they would come out on random falls but it wasn't an issue you just take off foot and shove back in the shell and strap up... and i didn't notice anything w/ them being heavy when wet... they're the most comfortable boots on the market hands down... if anybody disagrees then i would like them to send me a new pair to demo :D

Cool I tried on a pair of 2007 Ones size 12 and they were very comfortable. Then tried on a pair of 2008 size 12 and my toes were smashed in the front. I might buy the 07s should get a better deal.

i can't think of a single reason to buy an 08 vs 07 vs 09... whatever's comfy and you like the looks of... super deals on the old stuff too

They seem to drain fine but but I did break one of them. I'm a big guy so maybe it was my fault but I have heard that this happens a lot

haha coming from a guy on his third pair of bindings this season... YOU ARE CORRECT...

had the relics and broke them first set then went to the cells and those lasted about 4 months and i broke them... they replaced those and i've been on same pair since... keeping my fingers crossed... otherwise i'm probably gonna have to buy new or buy new baseplates

Would Ronix cover bindings that I bought new but were 07 models?

they should... i'd check your retailer first... if no luck there then i'd get on ronix... if its just a baseplate they'll send you a new on of those... that's what i kept going through
