I know this the answers to this will vary. I ordered a PS214 at fanfare on Oct. 15. How long have people been waiting to get their boats? This time of year there is no hurry, but I sure would like to bring it home!!!

Did they not give you a delivery date?

Your dealer can give you the answer. He will have a scheduled delivery date. I went to fanfare october 8. My dealer put my X14 order in place of one he planned to put in the showroom and the boat was scheduled to arrive to him 12/2.

Did you order Zero Off? If so, you need to take delivery by the end of December for the $3K rebate.

Yes, they gave me an approximate build date, I just wondered how accurate that was. I did order the Zero Off, so my fingers are crossed for the end of the year.

$3K is a big deal. It would have been a deal breaker for me if I couldn't get it. It only takes about a week to build. What is your build date?

WakePowell

Typically the dealers build date is accurate. The factory produces six boats a day four days a week so its easy to predict.

If there is a build slot for an X-14 earlier, as JohnE stated, the dealer could move it up to an earlier date. The dealer should contact you one week before they start building your boat to confirm your options and colors.

Something's wrong with your numbers. They build somewhere around 3000 boats a year. 24 boats per week x 50 weeks = 1200. Not that it matters in regard to the OP. His dealer needs to make sure he gets it before year end.

Your correct JohnE, they average around 15 boats a day and have for years.

Your dealer should be able to give you a 5 day window on dealerlink very, very easily.
If the order has been input correctly and there is a slot.

If the boat is in RED STATUS on dealerlink the boat is in production and has a completion date. The boat should ship within 5 days after completion unless he is waiting on a mulitple load of boats. YELLOW STATUS there is a start date assigned and you can still make changes
GREEN STATUS the unit has not been assigned a production slot.

Contact you dealer ASAP

I see that you are in the SE...who is your dealer?

I'm confused by your reply. They produce closer to 1000 or 3000?

Earlier this year I ordered my PS214 at the beginning of April and had it on May 12th ... like most already said, the dealer should be able to get you a pretty accurate date.

Don't forget the boat needs to be prepped at the dealership as part of the experience so go ahead and take your time it will be worth it.

Congrats ... send pics! I am sure you will have the 2nd coolest 214 on the water ;)

The boat will be white/Navy flake with a yellow stripe on top. LY6, mini-tower, VDIG only (no ballast), navy bimini, underwater lights, Ipod connector, and Zero Off. I think that is it...

I'd love to see some good quality pics of the navy flake. I was tempted to order it, but without ever seeing it in person, I was afraid to. I have a black and silverflake X14 and just ordered the same color scheme in the '09.

And lately these factors will lead to a quicker delivery than ever before. The factory wasn't exactly hopping when I was there a few weeks ago, fwiw.

Did you opt for the cash rewards program?? Just curious I will be buying in the spring and was looking into the program. Thanks.

I was thrilled with the price of the boat, so I did not look into the cash rewards program.

John, I have not looked at a navy flake boat in person. I was leery of the choice, but decided to do it anyway. I promise some good pics upon arrival.

Does he actually have to take delivery of the boat to get the $3K back for Zero Off? What if he pays for the boat before it is delivered (or partial pays) so he is not sweating the rebate? Just curious.

The warranty has to be registered with MC, so the dealer needs to have the boat. I imagine that could happen while the boat is being shipped, but I'd assume the boat needs to have left the factory floor.
