Does MasterCraft sell a "original boat cover" still that fits my TRI STAR? If so who do I call. Also, does anyone else make a real good waterproof, trailable cover for this boat? Please let me know a contact number. Has anyone had the chrome rope loop (anchor rope loop?) come loose. Mine moves and it looks like a bushing might be missing that holds in tight. Any suggestions? Thanks.

As I have been told the anchor loop is not suppose to be tight, being a little loose will make the gelcoat not crack.

No boat and the guy is dishing out advise on good covers. I do have to agreee with him. I had a cover made by these guys and have been singing the praises on this board ever since. Check out my gallery for pictures. Definately go waterline if you ever have to store outside. Not an inexpensive proposition but well worth the investment to protect your investment.

A group buy has been previously mentioned on that item. Forgot who wanted to do it though.

OH, sorry I didn't mean that! Just kidding.

There is another thread on boat cover from the same place, search for it and find the necessary info.

Did you go with the canvas, army duck or sunbrella?

Go with the Sunbrella and put formula 303 Canvas protectant on it. Just my opinion others may vary.

Absolutely do the Sunbrella.

I wouldn't tow with the cover on. It's like taking sandpaper to your gel coat.
