Does anyone know where I can find some black Traction Strips that spell out Mastercraft for a 1996 MC tandem axle trailer? I can only find the generic solid black strips on the Net, Thanks for any help you can give.

I'm guessing you already tried a dealer?

I had a friend that made his own with a MC sticker as a stencil, a hobby knife, and a sheet of non slip. Came out pretty good.

I went and bought sheets of grip tape from a skateboard shop. It worked great. just cut to size.

Go the dealer route. Those pieces are not very pricey.

Does anyone know the best kind of glue to reattach these pads to the trailer with. There is a backing you peel off but that doesnt seem like it would be enough. Thanks alot

You can always remove the adhesive from the pads and apply 3M #76, 44180 to each surface and apply as if it was contact cement. Tape out the pad area on the fender and on the back of the pad, spray, let dry and apply, applying pressure on the entire pad so all areas with stick together. Just follow the directions on the can.

The backing adhesive is plenty to hold it. They will start peeling up though after several years of use. At that time you can use some 3M. Make it easy on yourself... I am not sure how easily that backing adhesive would come off... if at all.
