I've been talking to a dealer and he was telling me the advantages about an attitude adjustment plate for an x-2 to give it a more favorable wake for skiing. I was wondering how many have that option on there boats and does it really make a difference worth $1,100?

Thanks guys!

I have the plate and would recommend it if you intend to slalom and are finicky about your wakes. Definitely helps flatten them out. I had an X9 & a 209 and free ski at 36 MPH. I can notice a difference in the X2 wake even with the plate, but it hasn't reduced my enjoyment or otherwise adversely affected my slalom skiing.

Also helpful to sculpt your wakesurfing wakes. Plate makes it a very good all sports boat. Should also help with resale value because slalom skiiers looking for all sports boat will want it.

yes it is worth the $$. Makes the wake flatter for skiing. Also good to keep the bow down when you need to run to the dock and have ballast full. Had an 07 x2 without the plate and a 08 x2 with it. Must have option for the $$.

I've never skied behind a boat with one, but I have herd nothing but good about them.

Absolute must, we will not order an X2 or X15 without one. More advantages for trimming the boat on bigger water, skiing, beginner instruction and re-sale. Do it. Do it. Dooooo it!

Can dealers install the attitude adjustment plate or is it only available from the factory? Only problem I see with my boat is the fresh air exhaust will probably get in the way.

I have it and it helps not only the ski -foot wake, but is helpful for open water and many other situations. I have added the fly high system and if we are boarding and my daughter is with us, I can mellow out the wake with the plate without having to drain and refill the sacs.

May I ask what is a fly high system?

May I ask what is a fly high system?

Aftermarket ballast system that adds more weight than the factory ballast.

Why yes you can ask... As PS 190 said, it is a ballast system which adds an additional 1600 lbs to the stock tanks to provide pro-quality wakeboard wakes (IMO)

Get the plate, you'll never regret it. Money well spent.

Where are you in the midwest? If your in the Chicagoland area, come on out and demo the boat for yourself. You'll love it!

Erik, can I put this on my X-1 and do you one by you guys to test if it warms up?

We have not tested an attitude adjustment plate on an x-1, it is not an available option on an x1.

If the river isn't frozen, we are open for test drives!
