"All I need are some cool buds, tasty waves and I'm fine"

Actually, those guys are great surfers! Wish I could do that.

He said he got pulled so far underwater he feared he would drown, but miraculously paddled away with only torn shoulder muscles.

Sick Sick Sick.....

here is a question that I have had a long time. I used to surf....20 years ago. Have skied, kneeboarded, now wakeboard all of my life. WHY do wakeboarders spend several hundred dollars on vests and sometimes helmets, while surfers go out in Sh*t like that with none of that?????????

As a youngster we would walk to the end of a jetty and jump off. We were 1/2 mile out, did not have leashes then....but no life jacket. We would have been laughed off the beach had we shown up with a life jacket on??

So, what's up with that????

That is the same thing I was thinking! The wave looks like it has got the whole eff-ing ocean behind it! That is heavy!
