Looking for a new TMC or MC floater for my boat key. My dog chewed up my current one. I didn't see any in the MC shop online. Thanks!

I need one as well. It was a life saver with the last set of keys I droped!

That seems like incredible marketing slip up. Email the pro shop directly. Sometimes they have stuff not on the web site. Call your local dealer.

Your local dealer will likely give you one. Fortunately, I still have the silver, star-shaped 25th Anniversary floaters that came with my boat.

When I bought my boat many years ago - I asked my dealer for a keychain. He gave me the metal one. I said that I NEEDED a floater since the keys were for the BOAT I was buying from him and reminded him that metal doesn't float very well. I left with 1 metal key chain, and 1 floater that was for a parts depot sitting in his mechanic's toolbox.

Now, my MC keys are attached to a Supra floaty keychain. How bad is that?

Jimmer, that's weak. Most dealers will give you a floater if you buy a $5 item from them.

I have my silver star shaped one, but it's nasty looking

It's not that they didn't want to give it to me, rather that they didn't have ANY! They even opened the "new boat" package from one of their shrink wrapped beauties. That's where I got the metal keychain from.

If anybody finds out where to order them from, let me know!

I want one too! As I was carrying my keys off the dock yesterday I wondered why a float didn't come with my boat. At least I'm not alone.

My dealer had a whole box full, I think they gave us 3 or 4. They have the dealer name (MasterCraft of Las Vegas), so it's something they ordered for their shop, but I'm surprised most dealers don't do that, seems like an obvious boat accessory. I've got at least one I can part with, anyone's interested.

I am sure somebody will snatch that up real quick. Since I don't have a boat yet, I will pass...

We could start a contest and get MC to provide one for every 1000 posts.
ETS would be the floatie godfather.

Or... here's a novel idea. Maybe put one in the TMC membership stuff this year? I know it's a stretch - but I think that maybe a floatie might fit into the TMC gear criteria.

I know - I'm whacky sometimes..... try to bear with me

They might be to expensive.

well, since they cut corners and didn't even send a letter/membership card this year as promised, I imagine they could pay the 1.00 for a floating keychain. Oh, and thier boats start at 45K.

TMC sent two with my last order along with some other goodies. The order that I had so much trouble with. Give them a call. The two that I have say Mastercraft on them. :D
