Donít break out the slide rulers, but has anyone know where the approximant center of gravity is on their MC before adding ballast or other extra necessities? :D

Look where the axle is located on a single axle trailer and between the axles on a tandem, that'll be close enough, even with the hitch tongue weight compared to a couple thousand pounds of ballast you'll add.

Directly above or on the backside a bit!

I could be wrong, but I think it's under the skegs. (or, am I thinking the longitudinal center of the boat, not the balanced center)

Well, in that case and with our boat, the center fin is directly above the axle and is directly under the center of the engine or whatever!http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/36/36_11_5.gif

I would think that the CG would be slightly forward of the trailer axle to put some weight on the trailer tongue.

Ok - the official word from the MC engineer department is as follows:

"The Lcg of the X-Star is at 100 inches Ė 104 inches depending on tank fill, engine size, etc. But always assuming empty ballast!"

Now if the bow rises over 45:D degrees I know there is too much ice in the cooler.:D
