I AM!!!!!

It is a 85 S&S blue in color. Trailer, one owner, 1046 hours. The guy is asking 4k for it, but it is EXTREMELY clean. Now, I have no idea what it is worth, but it surely seems priced cheap to me, and personally I like the way the older boats ski. Maybe JIM or Eric or others could comment on price. Is it a good deal? I'll post pics when I get them.

Sounds like a great deal to me too. You can use that boat for 10 years and still re-sell it for $4000. Seems like a no brainer to me!

Check the maintenance records, you want to make sure it was taken care of w/ 1000+ hours.

Hows the interior look? Any soft spots in the floor? What kind of condition is the construction of the seats?

Check over the trailer, bearings, axles, tires, rims, lights, coupler, probably want to add a prop gaurd.....I could go on and ON and ON!

thats for the heads up...

The seats/motor cover was redone in 05 and the pictures look like it has been kept indoors. Good call on checking for soft spots in the floor, also what year did they go to glass'ed stringers? As far as maintance records, if it runs, I'm happy...I've rebuilt a few SBC in my day...or is that a Ford 351W? Either way, rebuilding an engine really isn't a big deal, tranny on the other hand, I'm clueless on boats.

That's a good deal if it's in good shape.

PM me the name of the seller, I know someone that has a blue MC about that age and if it's the same person I know a little about the boat and may be able to get some more info. If it's the same boat, I know the current and previous owners.

Sounds like a great deal. These were the last real tournament boats, built before MC decided to lean more toward the recreational market.

Great old boat yes, but that's just silly to say it compares to MC boats now.
