Top 100 schools in the nation

We have a couple local schools in here and I know the so cal schools on here too, anyone have any local schools on the list?

1 Trinity Euless TX 5-0 1 vs Heritage
Trinity opened district play with a 17-10 win over Keller two weeks ago. This past Friday they did not leave the crowd in suspence as they jumped out to a 28-3 lead at the half and coasted to a 45-3 win over Fossil Ridge. Linebacker Earnest Norman said after the game, "We can't just show up and expect to win. Nobody is afraid of us and they are going to play hard."

2 Armwood Seffner FL 6-0 2 vs Tampa Bay Tech
The Hawks defense came to play once again as they put up their third consecutive shutout in a 41-0 thumping of Jefferson. Mywan Jackson threw for 5 touchdowns in the contest as the Armwood offense is looking like they have found their stride.

3 Byrnes Duncan SC 6-0 3 @ Spartanburg
Marcus Lattimore ran for 165 yards as Byrnes turned a first half nail-biter into an easy win over one of the best from Florida. Pahokee(FL) was not able to overcome a slow start to the second half where they gave up 21-straight points and fell behind 31-6 as the fast paced Byrnes offense overwhlemed the Blue Devils 31-12. Lattimore was complimentary of the effort but said they knew when the game was shifting, "Pahokee is a great team, but we knew they were getting tired when we saw their defensive lineman getting worn down. Our offensive line then started to open up some nice holes and we just had to continue to bang away up the middle."

4 Gateway Monroeville Pa 6-0 6 @ Erie McDowell
Gateway ran their way to a 42-0 victory over Hempfiled last week on the legs of Brian Williams. Williams ran for 309 yards on just 19 carries and scored four touchdowns. The Gators will make the three hour drive to Erie McDowell for their toughest test of the season thus far.

5 St. Thomas Aquinas Ft Lauderdale FL 4-0 5 @ Cooper City
The Raiders are still lighting up the scoreboard through the air. Last week they continued the trend defeating Hollywood Hills 35-7.

6 Poly Long Beach CA 4-0 7 vs St. Bonaventure
Starting to become a song on repeat. Poly jumped out early with a good run game and a great defense as it was 25-0 at halftime en route to a 32-15 win over Lakewood. Poly has a ton of athletes and looks to be a dangerous team in California. We will see this week who if for real between Poly and St. Bonaventure.

7 Lowndes Valdosta GA 6-0 9 @ Valdosta
The Vikings firmly secured their place as the No. 1 team in the Peach State with a 24-7 win over Northside Warner Robins. The defense played great - especially in the second half - limiting Northside to just 121 yards in the game, and only 31 in the second half. The Vikings controlled the tempo and the line of scrimmage rushing for 234 yards in the contest.

8 Plano Plano TX 5-0 8 @ Plano West
Plano looked like they were set to cruise this week as they scored 20 points in the first quarter but it took an 83-yard drive in the fourth quarter to earn the 38-31 win over Wylie. Wildcat quarterback Carson Meger passed for 293 yards and three touchdowns to lead Plano.

9 Lakeland Lakeland FL 5-0 16 @ Lake Gibson
After allowing an opening drive touchdown to Killian the Dreadnaughts defense rose to the occasion and shutdown one of states top runningbacks for the rest of the game. Tthe 27-21 score is not a true representation of the game as Lakeland was up 27-7 before Killian put in a pair of garbage time touchdowns.

10 South Panola Batesville MS 6-0 10 vs Columbus
The Tigers rushed out to an early 21-3 lead and put it on cruise as they were able to defeat rival Olive Branch 21-13 on Friday night. The win extends the nations longest winning streak to 81 and knocks Olive Branch out of the Top 100.

the regular season game between union and jenks is considered one of the top rivals in the country. normal attendance is over 35,000 folks.

as always it will more than likely the 6A state chamionship will be between Union and Jenks.

1 local school to me, #50 Buford HS. Plays in the 2nd smallest classification in Georgia. Big schools refuse to play them. More D1 prospects on a yearly basis than any other school in GA. Lost like 14 starters from last year and still the team to beat in their class.
