I am getting LED lights put into my boat... I am trying to decide if i want a black light(making everything white glow) or blue LED lights... any opinion...

I have seen the blue lights in photos on here, and they look pretty sharp!

While I really like UV (black) lighting, it might be a little strange looking in your boat. Lint, some cleaners, rat urine will show up really bright. Come to think of it, it might be really cool. You could use Woolite or Rit fabric brightener and paint REDRUM in your carpet. It will be invisible during the day and bright as all heck under the UV lights. :uglyhamme

/I used blue and red leds on my 209

I was going to put blue in my X9 and went to black light. the blue was very bright and I was looking for something that was the exact opposite.

i would send you some pictures however they all turn up blue.

Most true black lights are fluorescent tubes. Do LED "black" lights make white things glow the same way?

yes, the do but it does look different because the bulbs are so much smaller than the big tubes
