I can tell, back in the day, no barefoot suits and probably no cups either. What did ya use, 2 gallon lard cans?:rolleyes:

So what your saying is your old wrinkeled a$$ got out there learned how to foot behind the boat, and now you can do all the toe holds and front to backs???? 8p

Just sayin' I've seen more bruises and injuries on a boom from learners from trying to hold on in desperation, than at long line from a footer/instructor who taught it long line and was successful in helping prevent injuries and bruises.

Booms are for young wimps.
I learned long line before the time of barefoot booms.

I must admit, I would have used a boom if I could have.
