Anyone tried any of the twin tip wake hopper ski's. Looked at a pair recently and thought maybe there could be some fun to be had with less risk and wear and tear on my one good knee. Found a pair for $100 and thinking about giving it a whirl.

There is a difference between wake hoppers and wake skis...........get wake skis, they are more fun.

Wake skis are definitely fun! Got a pair for my Dad to ski on (the only kind available for rental), he had a ball just skiing. I hopped on them and was hitting w2w 180's after a few minutes. Definitely something fun to have around.

I am interested in wAke skis - can someone post a link to a decent brand?
I have these and love them. They track well, you can take them over the jump, and are great for teaching!

Depends on what I'm doing. I've been riding a little faster than wakeboard speed! I would have to hear the motor to tell you how fast.
