Has anybody had any history with Stengl Marine in Minoqua, WI? Do they have a good service area? Will they take care of ya?

Haven't had my boat serviced there, but have been in there before, and they seem to be decent people. The service department can get backed up pretty long so make your appointment early!

Yes, I had my 2002 - 209 serviced by them 2 years ago - I bought the boat new that year and the fuel pump went out. I was over on the Eagle River chain, made a call to Stengl, towed the boat over and they put in a new fuel pump in a couple of hours and I was back on the water. All done under warranty. They were very nice and the know MC's well. I was very pleased. I did not buy my boat from them.
Very nice area in Norhtern WI and a boater's paradise - my wife has been going up to Eagle River since she was a kid - We leave the land of 10,000 lakes to spend a week in Eagle River every summer - but I dont' think we are going to make it over this year.
Have a great summer!

Stengl's is a great shop. We have a place just outside Minocqua. We have our MC serviced there each year. They are very nice and knowledgable. If you have a problem, they are more than willing to give you advice and help you try to solve it on your own before towing your boat to them. I would highly recommend them.

We spend a week every fall in Minocqua, and I have visited Stengl's many times. I have not had my boat in for service there, but one Christmas my wife called to find out what type of depth gauge they install or recommend, and even though they were not even getting the sale, they spent time with her on the phone answering her questions, and telling her the pros and cons of the different models. I got a new depth gauge for Christmas, and they have my respect as a business who is willing to support existing customers. :D

I live in Minocqua, and they have a great reputation in town. My boss had a few emergencies and Stengl was there to help out in any way possible. I think they even drove the new prop to the boat launch after he ran over a log. Overall a great bunch of people to deal with.

Stengl in Minocqua. Best dealer in the state! They just finished doing some warranty work on my X2. Outstanding quality/competent work. They are very busy though, so I'm not sure how quickly they can service you. Water level is low up there so lots of lower end damages are ocurring.

We bought our 197 there last August. They have seemed to be taking pretty good care of us and our boat so far. The people there are pretty cool too.
