I recently added an after market tower to my MC. I was a little skittish about not using the standard Mastercraft Tower...I have been pleasantly surprised with this Fly High Tower. I installed it myself and actually felt sick as I drilled half inch holes into my fiberglass. The install went well and was fairly easy. Fly High advertises the X series tower as the strongest tower on the market and the only tower recommended for tubing. The tower is very tight and does not rattle. It is stainless and weighs approximately 175 pds. (This helped my boat with a bigger wake) I've used it every weekend since June and have not had any problems. I purchased the Tower from a Fly High rep who had advertised through ebay previously. I contacted him and he hooked me up even though he currently did not have any listed/posted for sale. Lance can be reached at 219-836-6911 if anyone is interested. The only fault I could find is the tower is not pre-wired for light and speakers. I will be working this issue soon so if anyone has any ideas I am open for suggestions.

Can you give us a few other pictures from different angles? I'm thinking about one for our 94' 205 but have been very hesitant. How does the rack fold down and is it very easy to do? Price you paid? It actually looks pretty good at this angle.

Not positive, yours is a 190 right?

Jeff - I'll get you a couple more pics and the install instructions on Monday. The tower pivots on the rear mounts. There are pins at the ends, middle and top of the front legs. Pull the pins at the bottom of the front legs and the tower will fold back. Pull the pins in the center of the legs and they fold to the inside crossing over each other. Pull the pins in the top and you fold down the center section below the top line of the windshield. The cross bar running from the front to rear leg is adjustable as well as the center sections of lower center bar. These can be tightened and loosened. I believe this is what makes this tower so ridged. Once the tower is up, tighten up these adjustable sections and it makes the tower really tight. You never need to re-tighten unless you loosen them. Check out http://www.fatsac.com. This tower is the Pro X Series PN W2923. You can find it at http://www.boatersoutlet.com for 1699.00 which the average advertised price. If your really interested contact Lance...I did not pay what is advertised. He can be reached at lreinsma@munster.org. My boat is a 94 Prostar 190.

Watch out for snide comments from Eastie and #1 but to the rest of us it looks great. Can't even imaging the feeling of drilling that fiberglass.
