Hey all! I don't want to jinx the weather or anything, but I was thinking in the next month or so, of getting the lift ready for the winter. I purchased a Hewitt Hydraulic lift like the one pictured below about two months ago. This will be my first winter with this lift, so I was wondering if any of you have had a lift like this, and what you did for winterization if anything. Thanks!!

Skeeler, we have one similar to that. It has the solar box with battery. They said to disconnect the hydraulic line(s), put the box/battery inside, pull the white cap off one of the posts and shove the hydraulic lines down the post. Since there is a ball check valve, the line and hydraulic fluid should be fine. They lower our lake in the winter, so we make sure the lift is out of the water free of damaging ice/waves. Do you get ice/waves?

Thanks, that is what I assumed. We do get ice and waves. My plan was to disconnect the lines of course, and pull the lift on shore for the winter. That way it is completly out of the water.
