i have a 209 but it is essentially a x9 now!!

i have 650 lbs under rear seat
700 lbs in the ski locker
155 lbs in a moveable fat brick

i got all my ballast from a buddy of mine who owns
www.maxwake.com

he can hook you up. we surf my boat really good now!!!

i love the fat brick since it is easily moveable from side to side depending on which side you ride!!

Custom rectangular sack in the front locker, ~519 lbs
sack under the rear seat, ~375 lbs
standard fat sack in the rear storage, less than 600 lbs because it doesn't fill all the way up
two Fat Buddies on the floor, on the surfer's side, ~250 lbs each
Phat friends, distributed as needed;)

never hurts!!!!!

i thought about a bag in the ski locker but was not sure how much the floor between there and the fuel tank could take, plus i need the storage!!

I surf off the stock ballast. That and my wife and 100 lb lab and we do just fine. It's all about technique.

I have been using the stock ballast + a 440lb sack on the surf side and am having trouble letting go. Wiltok said it best, its probably my technique.
G.
P.S. Are you guys putting smaller sacks in the rear locker above the fuel tank?

we ride a cwb ride at 11.5

you may have to play with it to find the right speed and technique. it is all about very small adjustments nothing major.

I have a 1200lb "Inboard Surf Sac" by FlyHigh that I will sell. It is an "L" shaped sac that goes around the motor and works great. My buddy was able to drop the rope his first time surfing behing my 1995 PS 190. I have used the sac and pump twice. New retail is $399 on the sac and $99 on the Tsumani pump. Make an offer if anyone is interested.
