That would be pretty sweet! Mount a monitor in the engine box, and set it up to record of a pylon mounted camera! You cound watch your sets right on the boat!

I didn't factor in the sun. There has to be a way to make it work? I know some of the new LCD screens are supposed to be much better in the light, but not sure how they would hold up to the elements.

Oh well, I need a boat first anyway!.

JVC 200 watt tunner/mp3 player. 4 original alpine speakers. My wife yells, "Turn it down." (there's an implied "please," trust me). I see no reason to throw more money at something that's too loud already. Plus, it's only on when we're not skiing.

Nothing too exciting, but it is loud enough for my wife and I.
JVC head unit, 8" Rockford Punch, (2) Eclipse 6.5, (2) Boss 2"x10", Sony 760 Watt amp running sub.
I think I would have to have a tower with speakers to even have a chance to hear the music while skiing or wakeboarding so mine is only on while sitting or heading from the ramp to the course.

I was thinking that also! Its great to have a system in there, but I wouldn't want to be uncomfortable out on the water all day!

Maybe he is short :D

The pic is a little deceving, there's more room than it looks like. I'm 5'10" and my usual driver is 6' with no problems so far.

If I get tired of it there, I could mount it like the photos below. I might move it next winter anyways. One thing about it, no problems hearing or feeling it. The JL definitely pounds!

Airjunky, nice shirt...I think we foiled together in TN a few years ago.
You were doing around the boats with Mike Murphy.

I thought about the sub under the playpen but we take it out on occasion. The playpen with the 12" would be hefty to handle...although it would be nice to have it out of sight.

That is what's nice a custom install, you can try anything you want if youu don't like it try something else.
