where can i get a new fuel pump for my 98 prostar with an lt1 engine,the engine just cut out and now will not restart,and i have very little fuel pressure at the fuel rail.. any help please..thanks:(

I just spent $350.00 from my local MC dealer on my 97 PS 205 with the LT1.

COZ thanks again for the info.. i ordered a two stage electric pump from idm mastercraft part #81556014 is this the same pump your ps 205 takes..and have you had to replace your fuel pump..the pump on my lt1 is on the back of the engine.. boat has 305 hours.. i had to call mastercraft to get the correct part # my mc dealer could not determine whitch pump i needed.. thanks paul

Before you replace your pump, pull the original one off. Then, remove the compression fitting on the bottom of the pump. Then, look inside the pump (where you took the fitting off). There should be a screen. Many times, that screen just gets clogged, and the pump is still good.
