http://www.mastercraft.com/teamtalk/cid:image002.jpg@01C907C4.8FD6E720Henry Stewart "Stew" McDonald, 1992 inductee to the American Water Ski Educational Foundation's Water Ski Hall of Fame, passed away early Tuesday at his home in Tampa, Fla. He was 83 years old.
McDonald was known within the water ski community for his ongoing contributions to the development of competitive water skiing.

Mike Holt’s Comment: I had the pleasure of spending a lot of time with “Barefoot” McDonald from 1982 – 1989.
He was just a great guy and I always miss him at every tournament. My kids every once in a while ask me ‘hey dad, what ever happened to that guy that never wore any shoes?’ You see Stew never wore shoes in public! I’m sure many of you receiving this email have your special memories of Stew. Our prayers are with his family.
By the way – Dale Stevens of the Southern Region won the Stew McDonald award this
