I have a 2000 Maristar 210 with a four blade prop 14/20. I'm going to look at a used four blade off of a late nineties 205. The guy said that it has 13 on the prop and it is an OJ. Does anyone know if this is a decent prop for my boat or will I lose too much top end?

Thanks for the input.

What's the max RPM's that you get out of the prop you have on there now?

Way too many variables to answer! How do you know it will even fit your boat if he just said it had 13 on it?

If it has a 13 on it I would guess it is a prop for a 1:1 transmission. With your current 14 X 20, I would say you have a power slot transmission so the 13" would not work.

Between 4500 to 4700.

Thanks for taking the time to respond and you are correct that on the 1:1 and quite honestly I don't know if I have a power slot or not.:o 5.7L TBI engine.

My current prop seems to meet my needs but was looking for a spare and the price was right on this one. I thought this one might fit the bill because it was off a MC 205 and close to my year. What would be your recommendation for a prop? I ski and i need some top end because I also foot.

With the 14 X 20 you have a powerslot trans. Has the current 14 X 20 been repaired before? What is the MPH at the 4500-4700 RPM? If the current size is providing the performance you need then I would stay with that size, either the hand finished 14 X 20 or the CNC machined 13.7 X 19.5.

The 14 X 20 has been repaired twice. Pulling around 45 MPH with a GPS (speedometer not working).

Thanks for the input.

Very good deal. Make sure it has the 1 1/8" tapered bore and not splined.
