We hit something last night and did some damage...

What is a decent prop for replacement? We live on an anti-ballast lake, but occasionally take it out on the river and load it up. So, mostly it is just for pulling the kids and myself wakeboarding. We have the RTP engine.

Thanks,

Tim

I spoke with him earlier and he recommended a 13X11 3 blade.
I spoke with ACME earlier and he recommended a 13.5X16 4blade.

They seem to be vastly different...

I'm confused, so I hope to get some feedback from guys who have already used other than stock props.

Just out of curiosity, what is an anti-ballast lake? Those two prop sizes are very different. I would suspect somebody gave out the wrong information by mistake.

Tim,

The 13 X 11 I suggested is for a 1:1 transmission, you thought you had a 1:1. If you have the power slot transmission I would suggest a 14.75 X 15.5 or 14.25 X 14.5.

Eric,

I really appreciate all your help.

I assumed I had a 1:1 transmission. The X1 is a vdrive....Does that help?

ACME says 4 blade on a vdrive and 3 blade on the direct drive...

An anti-ballast lake is one that does not allow any form of ballast or artificial wake enhancers....no fat sacs, lead, wedges, etc.

As I said, with the powerslot I would go with either the 14.75 X 15.5 LC XMP EDGE 4-blade or 14.25 X 14.5 LC XMP EDGE 4-blade. Yes to 4-blades with the gear reduction transmissions.
