I just re-sealed my raw water intake and a couple of other suspect areas. I filled the bilge and the only place water is coming out is through the shaft. I would expect some, but will it drip the same amount as when running it and looking on the inside? Just not sure if I got the problem or not....

If I understand your post, correctly, when you filled the bilge with water there was water coming out through the shaft? Assuming you are talking about the packing where the shaft goes through the hull...I really would expect only a small drip while under way on the water. Not sure how much is coming out "through the shaft" but you might want to replace and repack, perhaps with the new Gore-tex packing.

And before you ask, here one of many ways to stop/slow the water drip at the shaftlog/stuffing box,

Actually found the problem yesterday. In another thread someone had suggested that there may be a gap between the top and bottom half of the hull. I wouldn't have imagined the 1/2" gap that I found. Even before that, I wouldn't have thought that the water ran up the side of the boat like that....But it did. I sealed up the whole, took her to the lake and not a drop in the bilge...I mean no more than the packing would leak. After 3-4 hours of skiing, there wasn't enough water for the auto bilge to come on. I don't remember who suggested that to me before in the other thread, but thanks!!!
