I have 2003 MasterCraft tandem axel trailer, 2 of the 4 disc are locked up. Call my MasterCraft dealer and they said they are replacing the calipers with the Kodiak calipers. Has anyone heard any thing good or bad about this brand and will they bolt up to my existing mounting plate?

I have a 2003 tandem trailer also. The dealer swapped out my calipers with Kodiak DBC-225 calipers and swapped the actuator out also. No issues and they bolt directly up to the existing mounting plate. The Reliable bearing protectors will leak after they get hot so, I have replaced them with the Kodiak Prolube bearing protectors. They have a threaded cap which makes maintenance easier. (http://shop.easternmarine.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=catalog.prodInfo&productID=8143&categoryID=302) Hope this helps.

I have had no leaking issues but I'm just wonder if the rotors warped from the heat? I'm thinking about ordering the whole kit for $120.00 per wheel.

1 of the 4 rotors had to be replaced. Mastercraft coverd mine under warranty. If you search posts by me (COSkier) you can read the orignal posts. My trailer was repaired at the end of 2005. Since then, I've had the brakes not fully release twice. That is when the leaks developed from the bearing protectors. A single bearing protector from my dealer was $20 so, I ordered 2 kits from http://www.trailerandtruckparts.com/Kodiak-XL-Prolube-Kit-for-Trailer-Wheels-_p_146-350.html to have some spare seals also.
