View Full Version : selecting the correct propeller
I just purchased a 2006 X45 and am not sure which prop to go with. I use the boat at two main locations so I assume I will need two different props. Jackson Lake is approximately 6,772 and Lake Powell is 3,633.
What props would you recommend for each location, assuming I like a high top end, which is probably more important to me than quick out of the hole?

I would definitely call Eric at OJ Props to get that information right from the horse's mouth.

Also Delta Props has a guy that will give a recommendation based on your circumstances. Sometimes local shops know what size and pitch is best. For instance, when I was in Colorado the shop in Denver had props tweaked specifically for that altitude.
