I bought an '86 a few years ago and restored the interior but never touched the drive-train other than change oil, plugs and filters on the engine. Now that the kids are getting bigger and 3+ tubes behind the boat are the order of the day I am concerned of the stresses on not only the pylon, but also the engine and transmission (1:1, NOT powerslot). Can anyone recommend key items to check and/or possibly overhaul in the off season? (i.e. shaft alignment, tranny, bushings, etc).
