Ya know? with the cost of fuel we were looking for an alternative to the pumps and this new solar powered pylon powers the whole boat it's hooked right to the prop, but if it's cloudy it don't work :D

Duh Huh, mount a million candlepower spotlight to the tower, to shine on the panel and the problem is solved!

I solved my allternative issue:

1- Deep cycle marine battery
1-Beach chair
3-Pieces of wood 1-Round rod
2-Pink styrofoam things from the dumpster
1-Stolen trolling motor
Find some string or wire and tie everything together and you can get the bama stickers on ebay :D

Coz - What's the crowd like on Saguaro on weekends? I keep avoiding it like the plague except on the rare occasion I can go during the week as the one time I tried, they had already closed the lake to more boats by probably 9am. I've been driving the extra 30 minutes to get to Bartlett as I've never had a problem with crowds there... The idea of sitting in the penalty box in the heat with the kids getting anxious or dealing with the crowds launching/retrieving doesn't sound worth it, but your pictures don't show a crowd.

I've never been in the penalty box and if I got to the lake and had to go there I'd take a left and go home :D I've learned with this lake if your on at 6am you have about 3 hours of fun riding before the chop, so you'll catch us there @ 6am on saturday mornings. The reason I go here is it's 20 mins and we're in the water so we ride and we're home by 11-12
See ya saturday???

Doubtful... by 6am I'm usually not even hitting snooze yet!

If I get a group of adults together for pure action, I might go there that early, but I'm normally taking the family (wife and 3 boys aged 4,7,9) and they like their sleep as much as I do. Bartlett is good for the late sleepers... we usually hit the launch ramp around 10-10:30 and have never had to wait behind even a single truck to launch. Saturdays seem more crowded than Sundays - apparently God's not a boater...

I did go to Saguaro a number of times late last fall. This will make the midwesterners jealous, but we were out on Thanksgiving day... air temperature was almost 80 and the water temp was 73. We were one of 2, maybe 3 boats on the lake. It was awesome.

Here's one for ya, memorial day 12:30 pm and me and a bayliner, that's it and it was the same for the 4th of july, deserted and noone there when we left. Not sure where all the people were on these holidays but they weren't here thank goodness :D

COZ, you seem to take a lot of photos. We often take the camera along for the ride and then home again, still in the carrier.....

How do you manage photos when you get home? What do you do with them? Keep on computor, print them off?

It's tough but can be done as you can see :D one hand on the wheel and camera pointing towards the back in the other hand and you have to rubber neck to keep an eye on the traffic :D
