Everyone please WELCOME Andy Hoyt to TMCOWNERS.com. Andy and I have known each other for over 20 years. I still consider him a close friend. He taught me so much about the MasterCraft product back then. And I still use the knowledge that he passed on to me today at Bay Area WaterSports. When Thomas passed last year he rounded up the old crew and they all came over for a week and turned wrenchs here at Bay Area WaterSports. I will be forever indebted to them. Wish I had taken some photos!!

Andy used to own a 2002 X-7 but SOLD it. He recently purchased a FIXER upper 1988 PS 190. He is going completely through the boat to bring it back (Sand and Red)

Some of the older contributers may remeber him from the old days at Florida WaterSports in Florida (Current home of Bay Area WaterSports) Andy ran the service dept. for many years then started his own company. The guys in the service dept where the GLUE that held that dealership together (Hoyt, Brian Raymond, Andy Santana and yours trully) When we all left and went our seperate ways the dealership began to slide. Eventully going by the way side.
I left and went into our family owned business in 1991. Brian Raymond left and went to MC Corp then to Skiers Choice. Andy Santana works for the state in the prison system, Andy left and started his own business.

Andy knows ALOT about the older boats 92 and older. I am sure that you will be able to pick his brain. I am sure it still has ALOT of info in there hidden.

Welcome Andy

As Jim said in the beginning of this thread, this group was the glue that held that dealership together for the most part. Aback in the day, these guys had the #1 rated service dept in the COUNTRY! I can vouch for them too. Under promise and over deliver is what they did!

Happy to be in the owners arena........again!!!!

Jim, you are too kind, but I love you like a brother.

Ski Dog, been far too long.

Florida Water Sports was a crazy place for everyone (employees and customers alike), but it taught us all a lot about being a family and a fraternity. But somehow, through all the craziness, we managed to stay focused on the customers. We learned a lot of important things like, how to hide Brian from the cops, and how to explain to a customer why Mike was hopping around the parking lot screaming that one of us had just broken something off in his ***, or why Cosmo had so many hookers hanging around his apartment, and how to buy crack with photocopied twenty dollar bills.........and the list goes on!!! Most importantly, we learned how NOT to run a business!!!

If I can be of assistance, don't hesitate to ask.

I totally agree with Jim. Andy is a great person and has a wonderful family. We actually had the nice pleasure of meeting Andy and Anita when we bought their 2002 X-7.
