Well, I almost got out to test my newly rebuilt carb and new trailer. I got the boat backed up and the motor started pretty easily which was a good sign for the carb. ANyway, I was backing it off of the trailer and everything went dead about half way off. It looks like a bad ground. I was probing around and it looks like the negative battery cable is shot. Not a big deal, just frustrating. Although it was very rough and cold anyway. I really just wanted to try everything out. Anyway, I was just wondering if anybody recommended any specific sort of cable to use for battery cables or if I can just go to Advance auto parts and buy what I currently have. I figured that I would probably change the positive lead, too, while I'm in there.
