View Full Version : what is the best way to replace seal?

95 prostar 205 how do i replace the seal in the back of the boat that supposed to leak a little sorry i do not know the proper name for it. a friend of mine 6 yrs ago he used wax rope or something he got from a plumming store he cut them in to small pieces and overlapped them where they would leak slowly. but he has moved and i do not know what size to wax to get, and how much should it leak.please help.

I don't know for sure. I bought mine for my local dealer for about $0.41 plus tax.

Thanks i will just order some packing material from bennnet's in zackory La, no need to chance it on something that cheep.
