06 X-Star Tower Pads

Is anyone with an 06 X-Star having trouble with the rubber pad pushing out under the Tower Pads. I checked with the dealer and he said they do not make the plastic tower pads that the 07,08 models have, Before I order the old pads, just wanted to see if anyone was having the same trouble

I had trouble with mine on my '05 as well. I loosened the front tower legs and positioned the rubber back in place but now I see it's starting to squeeze out again. This winter I'll have to try applying some adhesive and/or get some new pads. Because there are only 3 bolts there's nothing to hold the 4th corner.

Anyone Else Had this Problem, are there any other solutions rather than changing to the same pads it came with

I am having this problem the dealer adjusted last winter and the pads are moving around again. I would like to see a better fix than an adjustment.

Same here. The pads on my 06 were adjusted at the end of last year, and are squeezing out again now.
