Just got back from Lake mead today. The water was great. Well worth the drive. Skied today until I could not ski anymore. My hands hurt. I was wearing gloves, but I sitll got blisters.

How was the water temp.? Has the lake level risen much?

Where'd you put in? I was out there yesterday as well, put in at Callville, really windy! Just wondering where you hid from the wind (always looking for new spots!), or were you out early?

We put in at Overton. Got there at 10:00 on Saturday. It was sunny and very little wind early. About 4:00 the wind picked up.

I didn't learn any new tricks on the foil, but I did see a few others out there on the foil. The water temp was about 67. Air was 80. It is still low, but it has come up.

Well, I'm glad somebody had a good day out there! We were feeling stubborn and put in around 10 at Callville, wind and all, but the basin was already pretty blown out. Overton is a little far for a day trip for us, but we went camping out of Echo Bay last year & I really liked it up that arm of the lake. Anyway, thanks, I'll keep it in mind. It's not too far if it's not blowing up that way. :D

Here is a pic of us at Sand Hollow in St. George on Friday. It is a very small reservoir. I never saw more MC boats on such a small lake. :D
