So now that I am done and have a blister on my palm from pushing it in with a small wrench, what was the easy way to get my RR bumper back in its channel?

Hair dryer, heat gun, hot water and a tool I made after seeing it at MC on a visit and I could have let you borrow if I had thought. When you come by tomorrow and you haven't got it installed, I'll give it to you!

Can we see a photo of this tool? I'll be replacing mine this coming winter and could use the insight.

Thanks No1, Already got it in there, glad to know there is a better way... My way sucked.

Reglassing the holes worked out ok only 2 screws are still stripped out, but the rail is down tight, I put a bead of sillycone around the "shoebox Lid" from about the windshiedl bac, where it gets most of the spray, and then did the same around the lip of the rub rail after everything was buttoned up. Between that and replacing the speedo PU while sillyconing all the bits around the pickup I think that damp carpet should be gone.

This winter I will fix the skins on that back seat somehow.

I saw the assembly line workers @ MC using this tool to flip the lip in on the lower side of the rail insert into the rubrail base and they gave me a piece of the plastic, I traced the shape and came home and made my own tool. 1" wide x 1/2' thick x 6" long and the last 2 1/2" tapers down to a 3/32" thick blade. With the rubrail insert heated in a hot water tank, it takes 2 employees about 4 minutes to insert the entire rubrail insert around the average size boat.
