I have a Prostart 190 just purchased used. I would like to get a repair manual for the Indmar Ford 351. I can not seem to find that manual anywhere. Can anyone help?

Greg

What year model? You should always tell us and maybe even add it it your profile.

Look here and see if this manual is of any help (note that there are transmission manuals there too).

Alternatively, I've heard of people getting those service manuals direct from Indmar. Call Customer Service on the phone, not email.

Clymer also makes an Indmar service manual, but IIRC it's only for GM engines.

This thread may help, cause a 351 is basically the same all years, http://www.mastercraft.com/teamtalk/showthread.php?t=22641&highlight=engine+manual

If you don't find one, Lex, at Rambo Marine has a set of books he has put together that included both engine and tranny. I rebuilt the 1:1 in my Maristar using just this book.

I got mine from Indmar a number of years ago. I think I ordered it directly from Indmar.com, cost about $30 for both the 351 block and Velvet Drive manual IIRC. I could not find it on their site after a quick glance, they may have discontinued printing it. Maybe give them a call.
Post some pics of your '89!
Good luck,
Kevin
