I'd say plan on spending around 4K and go to a custom shop. A nice '72 would be pretty rare..........

I was going to say $1500 to $2500, but then remembered all a 72 has is drivers seat and observer seat. No coaming pads, engine cover or rear seat upolstery. My guess based on what I got a couple of yers ago on my 82 would be around $1000 for new drivers and observer skins and foam.
Rear seat.... will have to be custom...... as far as I know, 72's didn't even have as a option. (BICBW)

yeah it had a rear seat on it when i got it it was just a snap on backrest and a seat cusion that just sits on the floor. i really dont like the interior. i really like the interior on mid eighties or newer with the side cusions and the engine cover upolstered and a real rear seat with arm rest. but i dont have 4k to blow on this thing i mean the boat needs some work but i just want to use it not restore it. i was hoping to spend around a thousand dollars. doesnt anyone sell upolstry?

i will post pics tomorrow dont have a camera right now. it is brown and tan stars and stripes
has a 351w with a velvet drive 1:1. i tore the carpet out and am putting some waterproof wooven vinyl. (it looks awesome). and the backrest for the rear seat disappeared on my way home from the lake last summer. the boat also has the original trailer. is this a rare boat? should i be doing this interior to original spec?
