from who ?

It's a letter from MasterCraft President, John Dorton, a brochure and a decal to place on your boat near the driver if you don't have one or if yours needs replacing, warning of Carbon Monoxide Poisioning behind the boat.

Nope, didn't get one. I don't think they know I exist.

Just got mine yesterday also. Not sure where I'm going to put that sticker (trash? Kids bicycle?, Kids diaper?)

Yesterday. Mine's still good on the back of the boat so I tossed it.

I have to say, the v-drive w/the exhaust just below the water at the stern sure gives you more exhaust fumes up toward the passengers than my first boat (I/O). I've noticed the fumes while skiing/boarding too. Pretty normal compared to I/Os?

Got it yesterday although I must admit I haven't opened it yet. I figured that after 19 years I wasn't eligible for a factory recall anyway.

Ditto, so the sticker goes on the back of the boat to remind you not to snort exhaust fumes???

Got mine. I'll put that sticker in the same place I put the one I removed from the boat when I bought it.

I've been fortunate enough to have purchased three new boats in my time and I've always gone through the same ritual of removing all those nasty looking warning stickers they slap all over the boat to cover their a$$ warning me to not be stupid and remind me that being in or behind the boat may result "in serious injury or death".

I should have been a lawyer.

The state of California sends those lovely brochures and stickers out every year with your registration. California even took it one step further and made it unlawful to not have a Carbon Monoxide sticker in view of the driver's seat and on the transom on the boat, so if you get some cop with a bone to pick, they could give you a run for your money.

what is Teak Surfing.....????

Being dragged behind the boat, lying in the water on your belly holding on to the swim grid.

...it's funner than it sounds, but with that whole "C02" thing, probably not a great idea for prolonged periods.
