Ok, I know this is rather embarassing, but I need some advice on how to remove tree sap from my upholestry. The boat sat underneath a pine tree for no longer than 5 minutes and now I have a few spots to contend with.

Try rubbing alcohol or Off bug spray.

Let us know how it turns out. I got a spot on my engine cover and have not been able to completely remove it. I have been able to lighten it with Oxy Clean and bleach mixed into a paste and left in the sun.

I use the miracle can of WD40. spray on let set for a minute thenuse a finger nail to scrub it off. I use it on my cars all the time since I have a couple of pine trees 100' tall that just ooze the stuff on a hot day. don't let it set there too long or it is harder to get off.

If it's dry will it just pull off. If not try a degreasing hand soap. I have had good luck with Goop orange on my hands when nothing else would touch pine tar. ??

Back in Georgia we learn NOT TO PARK under pine trees
And if absolutely nessecary - COVER IT~
Ask lanier92prostar about tree sap, I'm sure he's had his share.
