The glass on our tach has a small enough crack that it will fog on the inside occasionally. Is it possible to replace just the glass or are we looking at a new gauge? If we are looking at a new gauge, how hard are these to replace?

Contact your local dealer.

Known problem? Would you mind explaining.

I noticed the crack not soon after we got the boat, but it was so small I decided that I could live with it. It is just starting to fog up and is beginning to get dirty inside the gauge.

I have an update to this. The crack was on the tach. Despite a little fog every now and then, it was fine. BUT, now the glass on two other gauges is cracking. It is time to consider a fix.

The boat is a 2005 model. Are these gauges still under warranty?

I had to replace all my guages on my 2004 197 due to cracks in the glass.
Cost me a bundle
Hopefully yours is still under warranty, I suspect there is a known problem with these guages but MasterCraft won't do anything about it.

Both Speedos and my Tach have cracked Lenses. If you guys find a fix other than buying new gauges let me know.

All of you with cracked gauges, do you have a billet dash or plastic?

Billet.

Do you have to replace the entire gauge? Can you replace one gauge or do you have to replace the entire dash?

Can't replace the glass
On my 04 197 the guages can be replaced individually.
Very simple to do.

My dash is billet. It's a shiny silver metal.
