I am interested in the hearing anyone's experience with the X-35. I am interested in the boat and my dealer doesn't have any currently that I can get out and ride behind. He should have one soon. It is going to come down to a an X-35 or an X-45. I have a buddy with an X-45 so I know what that wake is like. We are hearing the X-35 may have a little bit better wakeboarding wake but info is tough to come by on the boat. Anyone ridden behind one or have any other comments about the boat in general? I have only been in one once but at the time, I did not pay that much attention because I wasn't "in the market". Let me know. Thanks.

Might have the chance real soon. The X35 is what my boss picked for his demo boat for the year. Its got the 400hp 6liter in it!

we have just bought the 2008 x30. you def wont be disapointed. Best wake i have seen from a standard boat. Mate even thinks the wake is better than his x-star but to me they look the same. Cant say i need it any bigger than it is lol. Thats with out the ballast even being used lol

X30 and X35 hulls are not the same so I would expect the wakes to be different. I have an '07 X30 and my good friend has a '08 Xstar and I can tell ya the Star wake is stronger and has a longer smother ramp than the 30. Now when it comes to a surf ride the 30 is much easier to set up with a wake that is further back from the boat. Glad to see a few '08 30's out there. This is my second 30 and the whole family really enjoys this boat.

We had one at CSM and all that surf'd the boat loved it. We have retailed 6 this year and it is my new favorite "hang out" boat. According to customers and Maeghan wakeboard wake is really nice with no ballast and gets better when full. Really a nice boat, great ride and love the fridge!

Check out the surf wake!

Wow. That is a great looking surf wake. Glad to hear that early reports on the wakeboarding wake are good. I hope to demo soon and I will give my impressions when I do.

i heard it is the same hull as the csx. is that correct? also, does it have tracking fins or are the x1 and xstar the only remaining mc boats with tracking fins? thanks, i would love to ride behind an x35. everything i hear is positive. keep up the r&d mc.

Not the same hull...the idea of more transom dead rise came from the CSX but they are not even close to the same hull. Tracking fins are available and std when equipped with L18.

Great boat...and keeps the beer cold, what more could you ask for?

How does the frig work. If I leave my boat sitting at the dock after a long day riding, does the frig run all night off of the battery or can I plug it in a regular outlet? How does it do keeping the beer cold when it is 100+ degrees? If I am out floating around, swimming, and listening to the radio for a few hours in the heat, will I have any juice left in the batteries? I am somewhat torn on whether to do the frig or not and the answers to these questions would help a lot. I also worry it will be a long term maintenance issue. Thanks.

We had it in the water for 4 days frig running and never had a battery issue. You can leave it on or turn it off (switch inside). Also if you have the battery tender option on the boat you can plug her in while at the dock or lift and it will not be an issue. A close friend bought our first with L18 and has 100 hours already...beer is always cold.

I can't comment on the life span of the frig...but have not seen issues on larger boats if that helps.
