I have a 92 Prostar and some of the drivers seat base screws are stripped. Looking for suggestions on how to fix? The screws are attached directly to the floor of the boat...

You can insert plactic/nylon anchors, epoxy in some wooden /plastic plugs/golf tees and redrill and insert, insert a large cable tie in the hole thru the base and cut off after the screw is 3/4 way in, and the list goes on and on.

I simply moved my driver seat about 3/4" to the left, drilled new screw holes and reinstalled the screws. Worked fine.

In taking my seat out on my '92, I had to cut the head off of one screw. I carefully re-drilled out the hole the screw was in and re-tapped it. In putting the screws back in, I coated them with anti-seize lubricant so that I could get them out in the future if necessary.
