After much deliberation, I decided I am going to hold off on a board purchase until they are cheap in the fall. Maybe find one here or on Craigslist for Christmas, She is just starting to deepwater on combos and I would rather have her finish that and then board and kneeboard next year.... once she starts those she will probably not go back to skiing until daddy gets on a course in front of her. Thanks for the input though I subscribed to this a wile back so I would have it.

i'd like to see a 199... that'd be like strapping bindings onto a 6' surfer w/ no fins... i've got a 150 ronix covenant and it's not too much smaller than my swim platform... threadjack over

See if you can find a Hyperlite "Motiv". I have taught a lot of kids to wakeboard with mine. It is a good beginner board.
