View Full Version : Which sticker for the truck?

I am trying to decide on upgrading the MasterCraft Sticker on my Tahoe. I really like the raised chromed lettering on the new sticker, but I am worried that I run the risk of it being a little too big, over powering and gaudy.

What do you guys think?

Keep it the way it is:
37037

Or upgrade:
37038

Keep the simple look; it's classy and understated. You don't have to scream "Mastercraft," the boats speak for themselves!!

I agree.

Maybe you could find a white decal the same size as the chrome.I think that would look better then the Chorme.

I vote to keep it plain and simple. Also, if you put the chrome at the bottom, won't the rear window wiper tear it up?

Does it match the decals on the boat, if so, nuf said!

Yeah, it will tear it up on the 2 occasions a year when it rains in SoCal! 8p

I think I can live without my rear wiper.

i vote for the 12in white one, but put it at the top of the glass. that's what i did on my yukon. almost did the 18in but i thought it was too big. did the 12 and it's perfect.

I voted simple, but I wouldn't be opposed to larger. I just put this on, i love it. What do you all think???

i decided to have a replica of our stern decal scaled down to 18" wide, because up here in Canada everyone thought I was a part of Team MasterCraft tools!!! Out local Canadian Tire Store brand of tools!!! i have even had people ask me if Canadian Tire started making boats!!!

Keep it small and simple....a smaller chrome one might be cool....

If you go lower LH corner, the wiper won't tear it up.

If it won't interfere with anything, chrome on the tailgate.

on a white rig, clearly the white is better. On my black truck, chrome is better.

Do you want the boat to speak for the sticker, or the sticker to speak for the boat?

send it to me... i'll rock it... it'll accent the silver flake on my bote... i like the graphic... it's sweet... some guy around here has the tribal looking chrome MC sticker (it's flat not raised though) on his truck and it looks gaudy... classic font w/ chrome letters... it would look good in front of that spotless white bote

I am saving it for my new car. I think it would look real nice on a new silverado or tahoe. ;)

My apologies. The tail pipe is now gone and does an end dump under the vehicle right after the muffler. I was worried about the tailpipe getting too hot and melting my airbags... :)

Another option would be to go with the Dripmolded version that you find across the back of the 2005 PS197. (MasterCraft...World Record Towboat)
I have this on my current truck as wel as on my previous and it holds up great and looks really nice!!!
