I have a 95 maristar 225vrs.
it started making a knocking noise that sounds like its coming from the oil pan or bell housing. Sort of a tinny sound. Less noticeable at higher rpms. Definitely not a rod knocking. Is there a flex plate connecting the engine to the trans? The noise is present in neutral, forward, and reverse. Any hints on pulling the tranny out? Do you remove the vdrive first?
